Effective: 23 May 2026 · Slice & Solve mobile app
The short version: we collect nothing.
Slice & Solve does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything stays on your child's device.
We do not collect any of the following:
To make the app work, the following information is stored locally on your child's iPhone or iPad, and only there. It is never transmitted off the device:
This data is stored using the device's local storage. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. It is never sent to us or any third party.
Slice & Solve is designed for children ages 5–12. Because we do not collect any personal information, Slice & Solve complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations such as the GDPR-K provisions for children under 16 in the European Union.
There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no logins, no chat features, no in-app purchases, no advertisements, and no links to external websites or services.
Slice & Solve uses Apple's built-in text-to-speech engine (AVSpeechSynthesizer) to read questions aloud when the speaker icon is tapped. Text passed to the speech engine is the same prompt text shown on screen, and is processed locally by iOS. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting SDKs.
We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise transfer any information to third parties — because we do not have any to share.
If we ever update Slice & Solve in a way that changes what data is handled, we will update this page and bump the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes for the affected version.
